An ALS Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to care. At the clinic you will see a number of specialists, including but not limited to the following:
The Physician
The Clinical Nurse
Respiratory Therapist
Nutritionist
Speech and Language Pathologist
Occupational Therapist
Physical Therapist
Social Worker
Various vendors are also present to assist in equipment needs and questions. After clinic all the specialist have a conference to collaborate care. The Patient Service Providers of The ALS Association of Georgia also attend and carry out follow up with patients after their visit.
