ALS ASSOCIATION SUPPORT GROUPS:

The Association offers monthly support groups throughout Georgia. Support groups provide an opportunity for patients, family members, caregivers and friends to come together to share stories, hear the experiences of other living with ALS and to get information. Notices are mailed to PALS registered in our database, but please contact Crystal Jackson if you would like additional information at 888-636-9940.

The support group meeting will take place for Newly Diagnosed ALS patients and for those in the early stages of ALS at the ALS Association of Georgia Office.   This meeting is targeted to patients who have been diagnosed in the last 6 months to be an essential tool in helping patients and their caregivers, families and friends live with ALS.

The Medical College of Georgia has started an online ALS support group and invites the  ALS  community to log in and get connected to this valuable resource.  The site allows anyone interested to post and respond to discussion threads, learn of any upcoming events, and generally become more informed about ALS specific topics.
